Cupping Therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which a local suction is created on the skin. This mobilizes blood flow in order to promote healing. Suction is created using a flame. Cupping therapy dates back to ancient Egyptian, Chinese, and Middle Eastern cultures. One of the oldest medical textbooks in the world, the Ebers Papyrus, describes how the ancient Egyptians were using cupping therapy in 1550 B.C.
Meditation is a state of thoughtless awareness rather than an act of doing. Ultimately, the goal of meditation is to slow down, and eventually, completely stop the incessant activity of your mind. Meditation is a state of profound, deep peace that occurs when the mind is silent, but completely alert. This is just the beginning of an inner transformation that takes you to a higher level of awareness and enables you to fulfil your true, human potential.
Naturopathy is a distinct and complete system of health care. Six foundational principles underpin the practice of naturopathy: The healing power of nature (Vis Medicatrix Naturae), First do no harm, Find and treat the cause whenever possible, not only the symptoms (Tolle Causum), Treat the whole person, Education and Prevention. These six principles are kept in mind when a naturopath takes your case, develops a treatment plan and also offers maintenance for long term good health.
