Langwarrin Chiropractic

Chiropractic is based on the understanding that your body when healthy is able to maintain itself in a state of optimal health. This occurs despite all the incredible stresses we are confronted with in our everyday lives such as pollution, bacteria, knocks and bumps, lifting, prolonged sitting, poor postures, school, work, babies - and we must adapt to them all.

Your Nervous system

Your nervous system is the master control system of your body. It is made up of your brain, spinal cord and the nerves that branch throughout your entire body. Your nervous system controls everything from the way you move to the function of all your cells and organs to the thoughts you have and the feelings you experience. Under the control of your nervous system your body is able to adapt to the majority of daily stresses - unless it is interfered with.

Vertebral Subluxations

Subluxation

Chiropractors are concerned with a particular type of interference called VERTEBRAL SUBLUXATION. Vertebral Subluxation occurs when certain stresses or forces cause the bones in your spine to lose their normal motion or position. This can interfere with delicate nerves. Without a normal nerve supply, the vital communication between brain and body is interfered with. As a result particular organs and tissues are more susceptible to damage, often resulting in a loss of health. Our primary focus in looking after your health is to identify and correct these Vertebral Subluxations.

Spinal Adjustments

Called an 'adjustment,' we use the latest in chiropractic techniques to gently and specifically restore your vertebrae to their normal motion and position. This enables your spine to return to a much healthier state therefore minimising interference to your Nervous system. As a result your body has a better chance of adapting to the daily stresses of life and can express a higher level of optimum health and performance.

Personalised Professional Care

Spine

At Langwarrin Chiropractic we understand that everyone is unique. Just like we have individual characteristics in personality, we also have individual characteristics in our physical makeup. So when it comes to chiropractic care some people prefer a very gentle, nurturing approach, such as Network Spinal Analysis, or Sacro-Occipital Technique, whereas others prefer the more physical approach of traditional manual adjustments. This is why we offer a Personalised Professional Approach to Chiropractic care. We listen to you, and tailor an approach to best support your needs.

Chiropractic care helps thousands of people to naturally relieve aches and pains and the symptoms of a huge range of conditions such as neck, back and hip pain, sciatica, headaches, and arthritis. Children and babies can also benefit greatly from chiropractic. There is well documented evidence to support that chiropractic care can help with poor sleep, colic, asthma and so called "growing pains." Many families also use chiropractic as part of a healthier lifestyle for enhancing general wellbeing.

Hypnotherapy

Sandy

Clinical Hypnotherapy is an amazing therapy to help in all areas of your life whether that be for depression, stress management, anxiety, fears (flying, public speaking, animals etc), age regression, smoking cessation, weight management, to incredible results with pain management and assistance with improving mental focus to aid with studying.

Hypnotherapy is also wonderfully effective if you have problems with sleep, or erratic sleep patterns.

I am absolutely passionate about Clinical Hypnotherapy and often people have a very misguided idea of what hypnotherapy is. It is a very safe, relaxing, confidential and effective therapy. Having trained in several different areas over a 15 year period including reiki, meditation, bach flower remedies, a black belt in karate and competing for Victoria and getting a rank of 7th in Australia for my particular discipline of Kata, all of this led me studying Cert 1V in Clinical Hypnotherapy.

Phone for an appointment or feel free to contact me at Langwarrin to talk over the phone to find out how best I can help you.
